"I rented a Road Glide for a 10 day trip to Daytona Bike Week and beyond. Of all the dealerships I spoke with Down Home HD was the most helpful and the most reasonably priced. I arrived at the dealership to find my rental washed and ready to roll. The Service Manager, Bob, went out of his way to ensure I had everything I needed and contact information should anything go wrong. The trip was glitch free and when I returned the bike, Bob (again) went out of his way to ensure everything was correct and that I was satisfied. I've been riding for over 30 years and I have to say I have never experienced a dealership this service oriented. I'll defininitely be back and highly recommend Down Home HD to you!"

"I called around to several shops looking for someone to Install some Cams, a Power Commander and Dyno Tune my bike..Pricing and Service were 2 things along with someone who seemed like they wanted my business..I found places that gave me a Lower price and i found places whos prices were higher. I choose Down Home H-D because of the way Will convinced me that they could do the job and stand behind their work..I decided to drive from Raleigh to Burlington to have the work done on my bike and when I met Ryan and Will face to face, they made me feel comfortable that this was the right place to bring my Bike.They acted as if they WANTED TO EARN MY BUSINESS..They explaned what would happen and asked for me me to leave my bike and they told me that If it was not convient for me to pick it up when it was finished, they would even deliver it back gome for me..Well when all was said and done i came back and got my bike and was told in detail what I was charged for and explained the charges to me.,.THEY EVEN STAYED ON BUDGET...My bike was Washed and Clean when I picked it up...It has never ran like that before and I am a Happy Camper..I will be a Returning Customer..Again I want to thank Will and Ryan for their Professionalism and a Job Well Done, and I plan to tell all my friends about What a Plesant Experience I had at Down Home H-D....Stan"

"My wife and I just bought a 2011 Wide Glide. Wasn't really planning on getting one until next year, have just been shopping around. Brought my wife in for the first time to see what she liked and the ladies in motor clothes showed her around the store. It's like they had been friends for years, I think she was more excited about the clothes than the bike. Everyone there was fantastic, From motor clothes to parts, to service, Miles our salesman and Wayne the manager everyone was there for us. Couldn't ask for better service. I've already recommended them to several friends and I'll be back frequently."

"I was going to wait until next year to purchase my Harley, several things changed my mind. When I walked in and my wife and I were greeted with a shout out from the ladies in apparel. I looked around for a few minutes and walked by THE Super Glide, my wife does not believe me but I swear there was a voice coming from the bike that said, buy now, the dealership must have removed the recorder. The salesman, Wayne, asked can I help you, not pushy, and with a tone that said, I can help. Wayne listened to what I was looking for showed me all my options and closed the deal. I left with the bike I wanted and the price range I set for myself. Do not pass this dealership up, every department from service to parts is top notch. I feel at home at Down Home Harley."

"Purchased an 09 Ultra earlier today. I got a great deal on the bike from Wayne right off the bat. I did not have to haggle and barter, he simply made a fair offer the first time. None of that "let me run it by my boss" stuff like you ususally have to tolerate when buying a bike. Wayne is new to Down Home and just moved here from Texas. Will and the service guys got me on the road quickly (just had to have a few custom touches). The service department is top notch and I will be bringing my bike to them for all future service and repairs. Rick in Parts located my accessories quickly and explained the myriad of choices available for my bike. Rick had an extensive knowledge of the parts and accessories for my bike. BTW, this was Rick's 3rd day at Down Home, but I learned he had been at Myrtle Beach HD for 17+ years. Linda in Motorclothes was first rate as well, hooked me up quickly with a few "must haves" I wanted. She waited patiently while I made up my mind on what I needed. I wholeheartedly recommend Down Home to anyone considering a Harley purchase. "

"I have had service performed here on an older bike and each time the work was excellent. Bob and Will in service have always gone out of their way to help and make sure I was satisfied with the end result. This led me to purchasing a new HD from Down Home. Jim in sales was very informative along with both Bob and JT in parts dept answering questions and providing information on Softail models. I was very impressed with the fact that Jim, Paula, Wayne and Bob all stayed past closing to accommodate me and make a seamless purchase which allowed me to ride home that evening on a brand new bike! "Riding a Harley is a tradition among the men in my family, so when it came time to buy my bike I went to my local HD dealer (that had recently changed management) and was now called Down Home Harley Davidson. I have been looking & saving for my bike since I was 12, and finally found the one. I understand (from looking at bikes over the years) that a Harley owner not only purchases the bike they like, they also purchase a relationship with their local dealer, most times unknowingly. So, that being said I was slightly hesitant for about a minute on the day I actually went down to buy my dream. Right off I was approached by Wayne Richards someone I recognized as NEW having been there many times looking. Wayne was very very knowledgeable about the bike that I wanted and put me at ease right away by explaining that he had just arrived from another store in San Antonio TX and was there to help out. In fact it was his first day - there at Down Home. After enough time spent with Wayne it was easy to see he was no first timer. After I made my decision and negotiations were done he actually made the wait for my paperwork fun! I got to go meet everyone in the different departments and do a "Poker Run" in the store and anything I bought got a discount - helmet, jacket, boots I got the basics (thanks Patsy and Katie for your expertise and advice). I could have won a $1000.00 gift certificate (I got a free t-shirt) I met Jamie in the parts dept. showed me where to find my bike parts and gave me some thick catalogs. Also met with Paula for the paperwork end of things - thanks for making that as painless and quick as possible Before I pulled out on my new Harley I met Bob from the service dept who thoroughly explained every working function I would need to know about on my bike. I'm now a proud Harley Owner and I'm excited to have a dealer I can trust. Thanks so much Wayne for your expert guidance, Patsy & Katie, Jamie, Paula, and Bob.
